Reality TV star, estranged husband settle child custody fight

There are not too many child custody battles that are easily sorted out. That’s why they are called battles. Anyone in the Morris County area who is going through a child custody battle understands this. It’s also important for anyone in this situation to understand all of the legal aspects involved in child custody cases.

The ongoing child custody battle between former reality TV stars Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy has apparently come to an end. Although, Ms. Frankel has yet to publicly respond to the reports, her estranged husband’s attorney has confirmed that the couple was able to come to an agreement regarding the custody of their 4-year-old daughter, for which they had been fighting since 2012.

According to reports, the couple will share parenting responsibilities of their daughter and both will play an equal role in her life when it comes to parenting. The agreement is reportedly confidential, however, Mr. Hoppy was said to be pleased that he would have equal rights to parent his daughter. The ongoing battle for custody of their daughter had become quite heated in court, as both parties made negative claims against the other.

Even though couples with children typically want what’s best for their child, they can’t always agree upon what that is. Thus the reason so many child custody battles end up in court. If you are facing a serious battle over the custody of your child, then seeking the help of a knowledgeable child custody attorney might be in your best interest.
